Every year University students undergo vaccination, scheduled preventive medical examinations (senior courses), and medical examination (freshmen).
As necessary, students are provided with medical assistance, as well as first aid in case of acute poisoning, illnesses, injuries, etc. Individual counselling of students on their state of health (within the competence of paramedics of the University health stations) and supervisors of student groups, deans, deputy deans for HR, specialists of the Department of Education and Science, teachers of dormitories on everyday life and medical support of students with disabilities is carried out. Medical support of students with disabilities is provided. The University has formed: a health group for physical education (1) and special medical groups (4).
Throughout the year, activities are carried out according to the doctor's prescription (injections, bandages, physiotherapy), preventive actions are organized, sanitary and educational work is carried out, and healthy lifestyle is promoted.
The university has established the practice of recuperating students who belong to the category of orphans and children left without parental care. During the year about 70 students are sent for recuperation. Students are recuperated in sanatoria in the Far East, Transbaikalia, and Krasnodar Territory.
