Information about the dormitories of “Sholom-Aleikhem Priamursky State University”
The specialized residential fund of the“Sholom-Aleikhem Priamursky State University” is represented by 2 functioning dormitories: at 74 Sovetskaya Street (students receiving higher education, students of the university lyceum, postgraduates, foreign students reside) and at 117 Sholom-Aleichem Street (students receiving secondary vocational education residence).
The university dormitories are equipped with communal metering devices for heat energy, cold and hot water supply, electricity supply, and comply with modern fire and physical safety requirements. Access control system is in operation. Dormitories are equipped with video surveillance cameras. All dormitory buildings have sanitary-epidemiological conclusions No. 79.01.02.000.M.002357.09.08 dated 10.09.2008 regarding compliance with sanitary norms.
The university constantly works on increasing the level of comfort in the dormitories: a major renovation was carried out in Dormitory No. 2 (74 Sovetskaya Street) in January 2022, furniture, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment were updated, student coworking spaces and study rooms were opened. In Dormitory No. 4 (117 Sholom-Aleichem Street), the "Good vibes" creative space was opened for joint creativity, learning, and leisure activities for students.
The dormitories have halls for holding cultural and mass events, sports activities, libraries, a medical room (74 Sovetskaya Street). Each floor has a kitchen, bathrooms, showers, and washing areas. Wi-Fi access is available in the territory of all dormitories.
The residential units in the university dormitories are intended for temporary accommodation of nonresident lessees (students, university lyceum students, foreign students, postgraduates) for the entire period of study at the university.
The lease agreement for residential units in the university dormitories is concluded with the lessees once for the entire period of residence based on a personal application and the rector's order on accommodation. The payment for accommodation is made monthly by the 15th day of the current month or for several months at once (at the lessee's request). Payment can be made in cash or non-cash form. Upon settlement, the lessee must provide a certificate of absence of contraindications to residence in the dormitory.
For the accommodation of students with limited health capabilities, a special room with a separate hygiene room is equipped on the ground floor of Dormitory No. 2 (74 Sovetskaya Street). There is a ramp at the entrance to the building. The living room and bathroom are equipped in accordance with the legislative requirements.
The Department of Extracurricular Activities and Social Support of Students (Pionerskaya Street, building 60, room No. 28) is responsible for issues related to accommodating full-time students in the dormitories and organizing their life activities.
The Admissions Committee (Pionerskaya Street, building 60, room No. 18) is responsible for accommodating applicants who wish to reside in the university dormitories during the entrance exams period.
Accommodation for Applicants
According to the admission rules of the “Sholom-Aleikhem Priamursky State University”, nonresident applicants can be provided with accommodation in the dormitory only for the period of entrance exams on a paid basis upon personal application and subject to availability of vacant places for residence.
Nonresident applicants wishing to reside in the dormitory during the entrance exams period are accommodated annually starting from July 1.
Nonresident applicants in need of accommodation in the dormitory must declare this during the submission of documents to the university admissions committee, where they are issued a direction for residence in the dormitory and a receipt. Accommodation in the dormitory is provided after payment. The accommodation fee for applicants in the dormitory is 140 rubles per day per bed.
Accommodation for Students, Lyceum Students, and Postgraduates
Settlement of students, lyceum students, and postgraduates enrolled at the “Sholom-Aleikhem Priamursky State University” is carried out annually in August (classes start on September 1). The specific date of settlement is announced on the university's website.
Accommodation in the dormitories for full-time students and postgraduates studying under the basic higher education programs is 1070.00 rubles per month per bed.
For students studying in extramural and evening extramural forms of education, accommodation is provided in the dormitories during the examination sessions.
Accommodation in the dormitories for full-time students studying under the basic secondary vocational education programs is 480.00 rubles per month per bed.
Accommodation in the dormitories for extramural and evening extramural students is 140.00 rubles per day per bed.
Students and postgraduates are required to make housing and communal services payments by the 15th of the month following the period for which the payment is due, at the university's accounting office at 60 Pionerskaya Street, 2nd floor, room No. 17, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 4:00
pm on weekdays.
Upon settlement, the student (applicant) must provide a certificate of absence of contraindications for residence in the dormitory and a 3x4 cm photograph for pass issuance.
