Within the framework of international cooperation, from February 6 to 10, 2023, Sholom-Aleichem Priamursky State University organized a traditional Winter linguistic school under the "Welcome to Russia" program in an online format. More than 40 foreign students from Jiamusi University and the Tongjiang Vocational School attended the Winter School.
The training program included communicative and lexical workshops in the Russian language, linguistic games and virtual excursions. Virtual tours of the Far East and the city of Birobidzhan were interesting and informative. One of the excursions introduced Chinese students to the craftsmen of our country "Russia is the country of masters."
The lesson-journey "The Prose Tales of A.S. Pushkin" introduced students to the biography of the author and his works. The humorous newsreel "Yeralash" caused a pleasant surprise. The participants of the Winter School had fun playing «Classroom Jeopardy», getting acquainted with the Russian students of Sholom-Aleichem Priamursky State University.
The students of the Winter School pointed out that this course was useful, although it caused some difficulties. They learned a lot about Russia and the Far East. At the end of the Winter Linguistic School, all the students of the People’s Republic of China received certificates of attendance.
